FOOD PANTRY AT ST MARKS
You Have The Power
Bishops’ High School NY Tristate Chapter has supported The Food Distribution Program of the Church of St. Mark for more than 10 years. The Food Pantry as it is familiarly known provides more than 9000 bags of food items each month to the community and The Walter Edwards Residence in Brooklyn.

The chapter contributes to this ministry through its monthly donations of food items such as canned milk and boxes of cereal which are the items in high demand. Members bring their donations to the monthly meetings which are held in the undercroft of the church. The organization itself supplements the donations as well.
The Food Pantry is staffed by members of the church and community volunteers.
NY DIAMONDS
True Comrade And True Friend
The Bishops' High School NY Diamonds A committee was formed in 2014 to honor senior alumnae and ensure that their membership in the association reflects our commitment to be “true comrades and true friends” to each other.
The seniors, 75 and over, are aptly called "Diamonds." The chapter celebrates the Diamonds with at least two events each year, including the Christmas party where each Diamond is celebrated with a special gift basket. The second event varies and has included a sumptuous Tea Party and a folksy Creole Afternoon where alumni and friends celebrated with Diamond guests of honor.
